Panasonic Facial Roller Eh-SP30 Vs Refa Pro/Carat Platinum Electronic Roller

Oh the damned many choices of Facial Rollers!!

Remember iwannabelenglui's recent post on PANASONIC Esthetic Facial Roller EH-SP30? And yes, before putting that as one of her wishlist item, there was that consideration on the the Refa Pro/Carat Platinum Electronic Roller that promises almost the same result of the Panasonic roller.

Just do a little Google and that's it.... we're SOLD! muahahahahhaa... Oh well..

The differences:
  • The Brand
  • The physics and scientific theory behind them: "How it works?"
  • The PRICE - Refa rollers costs a whopping RM1.2k
  • The publicity and popularity
  • The usage - Refa's multi-functioned
Before the Refa roller goes on iwananbelenglui's the wishlist item for 2013, lets do some reality check, more research, have some patience and drool over the pics above and below... LOL.... Heck, a pricier tool does not mean a better tool...

Cellulite busting cream?? Lets put Fisioline to the test... hohoho...

Crackle your way to cellulite no more!

So umm... I watched this: (click to watch)

Have any of you lengluis seen the new cellulite busting mousse in Guardian pharmacies lately? This is apparently some Italian innovation on busting cellulite. Imagine... "Italiano celluliteyo begone! begone!" LOL. The before after pics on the booth is screaming try-me-try-me!!!

Personally, I don't like the packaging... I mean... duh... You need to look appealing to attract lengluis! But what the heck... the before-after pic on the booth was enough to get me interested. lol... Tsk tsk tsk... no discipline...

Okay, so if any of you lengluis tried it already... TELL ME TELL ME!! Come on... share your scoop... lol... you can stay anonymous like me... hahahahaha...

fisio[line] Cellulite mousses works in 5 key ways:

• Reactivates the microcirculation
• Draining effect
• Anti-oxidant effect
• Smoothes and soothes the skin
• Stimulates the metabolism

Okiee.. so I Googled for reviews on this. Surprisingly, Japanese lengluis love this product. Hmm.... lets wait a while before I make my purchase... heheheehe.. Meanwhile.. you can read google translated reviews on Fisioline ...

Japanese lengluis reviews
A vid on a Jap lenglui using the product
Dutch site on the product
Fisioline official site

Retails for about RM129 in KL local pharmacies.. I'm not sure about other countries though.. Ask Uncle Google, he'll know! I'll update this when I finally try it out! huhuhuhu... should be anytime soon...

Update:
  • Started my first application last night (at obvious cellulite areas)... lol... excited..!
  • The crackling feels good on the skin...
  • But umm... I could get same after-feel with cheaper cellulite gels..
  • Subtle grapefruit fragrance
  • Lets see what this does after 2 weeks

Update after a month 8th Oct 2010:
  • Aww man.. I religiously use this twice a day.. EVERYDAY! (so hardworking huh?)
  • Still... cellulite's pretty obvious
  • But.... I guess its pretty nice to use with crackle and all
  • If you're tight on budget... just get any normal/reputable cellulite cream for a fraction of the price... Results are similar..
  • Any massaging on area definitely helps!
  • Nope... this is not going in my fav list of stuff...

Gone are the cellulite days.....

Hey, what about a nice BUM for a change?
(okay-okay... this will come later..)

A couple of weeks ago... my mum bought back something for me... again... its for the cellulite... It took me a while before deciding to blog on the Yves Rocher Spa Energie Slimming Massage Oil. Duh... obviously I wanted to know if it helps before I take my time to blog on it... lol... I know- I know... lazy women... Before you read this... go read my previous blog on cellulite...

You know... if you're not too busy handling more important stuff in your life... I think its good to find some time, perhaps 5-10 minutes each day after shower to do some massaging on cellulite prone areas. Believe me... it does help a little... I would really like to post up a before-after picture of my cellulite-busting regime... but... hahahahaa... shy la!

Of course there are the lengluis who are cellulite prone due to genetics and most of the time weight issues. But... being on the heavy side or having a family history of cellulite doesn't mean nothing is going to help get rid of your cellulite 'cept for liposuction...

Have some discipline... massaging with a good serum or oil WILL reduce the appearance of cellulite. Heck... these days... beauty tech has advance by way loads... so yes, MASSAGING helps! Even if you decide to go for those cellulite courses in the beauty saloons, the beauticians are gonna have to do the same.. massage your problem area...

Back to the Massage Oil...
Conclusion:

  • Smells pretty relaxing... (I guess that's the Scutellaria Root extract)
  • Used with a cellulite massager...
  • I'm bottom heavy used to be with loads of cellulite beneath the bum area at the thighs... Massaging with this did help a little... I guess you could say... I'm very a mild case of cellulite now... muahahahahahhaaa... the hard work paid off...
  • Yes, its lightly greasy like any light-weight oil... but bearable...
  • I'm now trying to discipline myself into doing lunges in hopes of toning up the bum and thigh area... But... give me a break... I can't turn into an exercise freak overnight... lol..

I Hate Cellulites - cellulites be gone

I hate cellulite. (period)

Life's unfair. Why are women more prone to cellulite? Why isn't there a miracle cream that zaps cellulite away? (Okay, forget laser - that's too $$$ extreme for me). So when I decided that enough was enough... it was time... to combat those unsightly curdles below my butt.

After some several hours of research, I realize... no amount of miracle cream/gel is going to get rid of them cellulite. So what would help?

Fake a tan
- darker skin tend to hide cellulite well, especially if you do want to hang out at the beach in a bikini. I think, I don't mind a tan butt!!! lol
- I got the Loreal Sublime Bronze self tanning gel from UK cos this can be applied on both face and body. Alternately, you can try "Jiffy Tan" by Benefit or other tanning products for the body....
- tolerable scent
- easy to use but... you gotta stay garment-free for 1 hour till it dries completely to avoid streaking.. Imagine.. staying naked for 1 hour worrying that if you sit or do anything... its gonna just streak or stain the chair/bed.. (--)"

Get a Cellulite Massager
- cellulite massagers are commonly sold everywhere
- I got mine from Watsons.
- Lather up and massage at problem areas during shower
- Yes, this helps! So do it!

Take Collagen Supplements
- collagen strengthens our connective tissue... so... ditto
- see my Kinohimitsu J'pan Beauty Drink blog

Invest in cellulite cream/gel/serum
- Its all in the mind... Its all in the mind.... Mentally helps us fight cellulite... lol
- Believe it or not... combined with the above attempts... the appearance of the cellulite below my bum was reduced. At least something is working...

Sana Esteny Hip and Leg Gel

- requested Lengcai to get this from Tokyo... Imagine... he has to show the pic to some Jap uncle at the store...

Lengcai: Hello mister... err... do you sell this? (showing pic of Sana Esteny in mobile phone)
Japanese Uncle: Summimasen?? Hmm... aaaaa..... oooo... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa SO!!!!
Lengcai: (this is soooo embarrassing... kill me... kill me now.....)
Japanese Uncle: Arigato! Arigato!! (the kids got cellulite?? LOL)

- relatively cheap
- hot tingling sensation
- smells like orange peel
- skin feels smooth after application

Yves Rocher 3D Body Definition Serum
- mum got this for me..
- claims to transform bumpy, orange-peel skin into an ultra-smooth texture in just 7 days
- Forgotten how much this was. Definitely < RM100
- Not much feeling on my butt... and the smell is irritating although its actually lightly scented. but, I think this works better than the Sana one! Cos the bumpy texture on my butt seems to be less visible... Hmm... then again... maybe its the massager...
